Pratellesi Francesca

Francesca Pratellesi is a naturalistic painter, born and raised in Tuscany.
She currently lives in the beautiful countryside in the southern part of the province of Siena, where she finds plenty of inspiration for her landscape paintings.
Francesca is mostly self-thought, and her love for drawing and painting begun when she was a child, and discovered the pleasure of observing Nature and capturing the Beauty that surrounds her in her everyday life. She uses oil paint as her favorite medium in the studio, and watercolors, pens and pencils to sketch anything that strikes her attention when she is out in the open. She frequently takes field trips to paint in the countryside from life. Her favorite subjects are the Tuscan vineyards and beautiful fields of wheat and sunflowers, the blue Mediterranean Sea and she loves portraying cats.
Francesca’s paintings have been exhibited in solo and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Siena, Turin, London and Malta, and form part of private collections all over the world.
